eBonds project

Client context

eBonds is a South African residential bond origination service. It puts one home-loan application in front of the country’s major lenders, then negotiates the competing offers against each other so clients sign at the best rate available to them.

Website design

The design concept puts reassurance first. A deep green ground reads as calm and established, set against off-white panels and property photography that keeps an abstract financial service rooted in something familiar. A confident serif headline carries the emotional weight of the page while a plain sans-serif handles supporting detail, so the two read at different speeds. Layout does most of the persuading: wide hero space, generous margins, and short, clearly separated blocks that make a long process look manageable rather than intimidating. Implementation runs across desktop, tablet, and mobile, with the hero, the photography, and the routes into the service reflowing at each breakpoint so the same sense of control holds on a phone screen.

Social creative

The social creative is a set of individual posts, each built to stand on its own in a feed. Lifestyle photography and flat graphics on deep green and off-white alternate from post to post, and each pairs a serif headline with an italic green emphasis line. “First home? Start here.” and “Compare before you commit.” make the service feel achievable, while “Know your numbers.” and “From application to registration.” keep the process in view. Each post carries the eBonds logo and the ebonds.co.za address for brand recall.
